A NIGHT OF EXPLOSIVE SWING AND UNPRECEDENTED HARMONY TRANSFORMED THE NEIGHBORHOOD ARTISAN COFFEE SHOP.

JAKARTA, June 28, 2025 – Kopikina Kemang successfully hosted a groundbreaking musical event, as South Side Jam Vol. 3: Symphony of Swing made history by bringing the grandeur of big band jazz to an intimate cafe setting. This unique blend of sophisticated music and local coffee culture delivered an unprecedented experience for Jakarta audiences.

The highly anticipated third installment of the South Side Jam series was held on Saturday, June 28 2025, from 7:00 PM to midnight at Kopikina Kemang. It featured the renowned Horn's Star Big Band, an ensemble of accomplished Indonesian musicians, alongside special guest vocalist Natasya Elvira. Attendees witnessed an explosive performance of brass sections, rhythmic swing, and intricate arrangements within the inviting ambiance of the cafe. The evening kicked off with an energetic opening set by The Weekdays, a rising DJ collective, and was masterfully hosted by Andreas & Camui from Jaksel Epruv.

"This wasn't just another gig, it was a milestone," stated Kopikina's Branding Team."We transformed the energy of a jazz hall into the warmth of a cafe. It was bold, unexpected, and truly embodied the spirit of South Side Jam.”

Established in 2013, Kopikina was founded with a mission to make a high-quality Indonesian specialty coffee accessible to everyone. With its belief in being "Specialty for Everyone, One Neighborhood at A Time," Kopikina has cultivated a strong following across its Tebet, Kemang, and Senopati, establishing itself as a community hub.

South Side Jam, as Kopikina's signature music event, continues the brand's tradition of blending unique musical experiences with local settings. Previous successful installments of the event featured notable artists such as Teza Sumendra, Subo Family, and Pemuda Sinarmas. This third volume successfully continued to push boundaries.

South Side Jam has grown from a cozy community event into a cultural force. The first edition featured Teza Sumendra, and Vol. 2 brought the nostalgic grooves of Subo Family and Pemuda Sinarmas. Now, Vol. 3 swings into new territory with a live music duo presented as The Weekdays kicking off the night and Andreas & Camui from Jaksel Epruv guiding the crowd as charismatic MCs.
